Two actions in the district court for St. Louis county, one on behalf of Benjamin Storey, a minor, by his father and natural guardian, to recover for injuries sustained by the minor when struck by an auto owned by defendant Etta R. Weinberg and driven by defendant George Torwick, an employe of defendant MacDonald Motor Company, and the other by Benjamin and Grace Storey, father and mother respectively of the minor, to recover for medical expenses incurred because of said injuries. The cases were tried before Mark Nolan, Judge, and a jury, and a verdict returned for defendants in each case. From separate orders granting plaintiffs motions for a new trial on the ground of errors of law occurring at the trial, defendants appealed.
